How to share a link in a reply if link is longer than 75 characters?

Hey, I have a question, how do you post a link as a reply? So I wanted to reply with say, one of my podcast links, but if I really copy that link and I post it, well, it's over 75 characters and with the 75 character limit, I'm not able to share a link. Is there any way to share a link as a reply? If the link itself has more than 75 characters, please let me know. Thank you

bit.ly

Are you at all familiar with websites like Bit Ly? There are a few others as well, but that's the one I tend to use when I want to shorten other link. You can go there and just pop your link in there and it will give you a shortened link that will still direct you to the same place, but has fewer characters

Thank you so much šŸ˜Š

Hey, thank you so much for that. You know, I've seen people do stuff like that, and I just didn't know that's what they were doing. I thought it was an app or something like that. So I guess I will try that. I'm guessing I have to sign up and all of it. But thank you so much. I will try that

Accounts vs free.

So I haven't used it recently, but if memory serves me correctly, you can create links without an account. But the benefit of having an account is that every previous shortened link that you created will be saved in a list so you can go back to and pull one out. If you want to use the same one again. Also, you can create a customized shortened link. I think you get maybe one or two with a free account
