COVID-a silver lining?

I think that there's a lot of people that complain about their jobs and think about how they're tethered to their desk and they hate their boss and they're in the daily grind. And there's absolutely no way out of that. We've all been in the situation where we're in this Whirlpool that we can't get out of this pandemic. And this particular time in history shook that cage door wide open and has given people an opportunity to spread their wings if they choose to do so

Empathy while thriving - new emotional gymnastics - a good workout.

And yet I'll be so sensitive to people I love that I won't be able to fully enjoy the gifts of my own life. It's a constant struggle, and it's a good one, and I think it's come to the fore in this particular event

Yeah, I veered a little bit further away from those types of topics, those divisive topics. But Nevertheless, I think that there's opportunity wherever there are these downfalls, there are opportunities and not for lack of empathy by any stretch, but certainly by a chance to view it from a different perspective. So looking forward to hearing if other people and what you have to say. And thank you again for introducing me to such a wonderful platform

I was a big supporter of the candidate, Andrew Yang, whose primary proposal was UVI, which his essential thing was give people money a basic level of money that would help them survive just about enough and would free them. Like what you said over here. It would free them from the daily drudgery of being forced to work in a job that they don't enjoy just so that they can put food on the table

But if $40,000 is a living wage for somebody, then they're making $41,000, and it becomes impossible for them to leave that because technically, they're making more money than their living wage. And we are trapped. That because to dash that on the rocks and make nothing for a little while or make next to nothing while you're building is difficult at best
